I wish no one falls sick, but we never know what life holds for us. Living with uncertainties has become an habit for us. Thus, thinking about it and worrying doesn’t make sense. But one thing that matters is ‘Moments‘. We live this time which is a moment but are we living it happily?
We all must have been to hospital for some reasons and we must have seen several patients struggling for life. Seeing it outwardly, may not seem so painful but when you see yourself as that patient, you will realize that life sucks being over the bed.
Several get cured and return back to home from hospitals while some had to either be bedridden for lifetime or will have to live a shorter life span. Disease, it can do anything. Miracles happen in this world but not always and for everyone. Life may turn out to be miserable and one may be left with few time to spend in this world. Why not make such few moments memorable?
When we know medical treatments won’t work and the person will bereave sooner, why to mourn when they are alive? Why not make an attempt to make the last few moments blissful and cheerful for them? If we do that, certainly they will leave this world when they have to, with a smile. Even if you end up in such a situation (I don’t really mean it), never weep on your misery. Instead feel happy that you still have few moments to live as you want to. Take away good memories with you by enjoying this moment. This moment is really important. Don’t sacrifice it for anyone or anything. Live life if you are blessed with a long one and make it the best so that you don’t feel the need for an another life!
Here’s a short poem penned by me, over the same!
It can’t be said that the treatments will work,
And one may be forced forever to be sick;
Time may lapse bringing one closer to a long darkness,
And one may miss that person’s presence.
Life is certainly not in our hands,
But moments, one do holds;
Make it the best when you are alive,
So that you don’t feel the need for another life!
