Brothers are the dearest to every sibling. Likewise an action-packed, romantic story revolving around two brothers is Ennai Noki Paayum Thota. So here’s a review about it.
Ennai Noki Paayum Thota starring Dhanush, Megha Akash, Sunaina and Sasikumar got released on 29th November 2019. After facing a lot of hurdles, this movie got released. And it should be said that the wait was worth. Director Gautam Vasudev Menon as usually forced the viewers to watch the movie unblinkingly. Wherever the romance, action, emotions was needed, it was provided perfectly without any increase or decrease in it. Starting with our director’s voiceover, the story takes a flight of amazement. Dhanush, with all his looks, romantic essence and powerful presence ceases the viewers from leaving their seat until the end.
The movie starts with Raghu (Dhanush) being held in hostage by goons with a plan to shoot him. And yes fortunately Raghu escapes from the death mouth. With his every move, he reveals his past story. Firstly, his bonding with his elder brother who goes far away from his family after the death of his girlfriend in teenage. He then reveals his love story which enroutes to his brother Thiru (Sasikumar). Lekha (Megha Akash) is an actor who forcefully does films because of her guardian. It’s in a shoot at Raghu’s college, they both meet and fall in love with each other. Slowly their love starts facing issues because of her guardian and in midway their love faces separation. As the decision of separation was of Lekha, Raghu holds an anger towards her.
With time he starts moving on. There he receives a call from Lekha stating Thiru is in problem and he must come to Mumbai for helping him. Raghu, who dislikes Mumbai, walks into the city only for Thiru. His college mate Mythili (Sunaina) accommodates him in her room and assists him. Later, how Raghu meets his brother, how he resolves the problems faced by him, does he accepts Lekha ? The second half relies on it.
Some movies are predictable. But Gautam sir’s movies has never been like that. With all the twists and turns, the plot seems to be interesting. Romance has touched the peak which engages adults with it. From the start till the end, every song seizes everyone’s heart. Especially Maruvaarthai Pesaathey sung by Sid Sriram melts our heart. Overall every song isn’t just a song to entertain us in between a 2 hour long movie. Instead they all are the songs that syncs with the situations.
With all the positive feedback about the movie, here’s me winding up this review. Being the second day today of its release, I wish you too watch the film Ennai Noki Paayum Thota and make the best of your time!
Stay tuned for another movie review!
